We are searching for a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our Tax group in our Dallas office location.The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of routine administrative tasks and is responsible for providing support to their assigned Partners, Senior Managers and their respective industry groups. Additionally, Administrative Assistants provide support to other client service staff and members of the Administrative Assistant team.
Responsibilities: •Serves as a point of contact for internal and external clients including: screening phone calls, ensuring client messages are communicated to the appropriate client service staff, and following up with clients, when appropriate •Processes tax extensions, Master Service Agreements and addendums •Schedules appointments using Outlook •Formats and types a variety of correspondence •Screens, prioritizes, and distributes mail •Reviews calendars and anticipates logistical opportunities or needs to assist •Assists with time and expense reports •Tracks monthly billing deadlines •Collects information and completes New Client Acceptance forms and obtains approvals •Assists with conferences and special events
Qualifications: •High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred •Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role required •Experience in a professional services firm preferred •Strong attention to detail and accuracy •Capability to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure •Advanced skills with Microsoft Office •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Experience in accounting procedures preferred •Flexibility with overtime to meet deadlines •Strong organizational skills required
