Responsibilities for Assembler: Assemble equipment for eye surgery. Various teams are available: • One group of assembler puts together surgical equipment that requires attention to detail and the ability to repeatedly work with small pieces and machines. • Other assembly employees fold items and fill custom orders to be sent to doctor's offices, hospitals, and clinics worldwide. • Assembly positions in the warehouse pick the items needed for a specific order to be sent via a conveyor line to the assembly room, requiring the use of automated picking standards and techniques along with precision and speed.
Qualifications for Assembler: • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred • Minimum 1 year of previous work experience. • Ability to stand during the length of your shift • A resume to bring to your interview • A HS Diploma or GED certificate to bring to your interview
Compensation and Benefits for Assembler: • 1st shift employees receive $9.50/hr • 2nd shift and weekend shift employees receive $10.00/hr. • As a Burnett/Choice temporary or contract employee, you can benefit from Weekly Pay, Direct Pay Deposit, Global Card Paycard, Medical Indemnity Plan, Free Online Training, and Credit Union Membership (Houston, El Paso, Dallas, San Antonio).
